Ultra Stable Surface DC Volt Meter USSVM2

$660.00 HST

Measures conductive surface voltage, atmospheric electricity. Not affected by air ions.

Electrostatic meter to monitor static electricity without contact.

It measures voltage on surfaces and can be used to calculate charge density on insulators. It has peak hold and a resolution of 1/10 of a volt on a 20Kilovolt range (+19,999.9 to -19,999.9 volts).

Uses sensor shutter/switcher technology for long term stability without drift, eliminating false or offset readings due to charged air molecules (air ions). The sensor has a 29 inch detachable cable which can be extended up to 9’.

Measures magnitude and polarity of static charge on objects or surfaces. Sensor calibrated for measuring a surface at 1” (2.5cm) from the end of the sensor. On metallic/conductive surfaces, measures surface voltage, proportionally to static charge present.

The SVM2 determines whether a given process is increasing or decreasing the static electricity present, even if the increase or decrease is by a tiny fraction. Peak hold function displays the highest positive or negative level measured since the last time that the peak hold values were cleared, at maximum deviation from zero, with polarity.

USB Port for recording, uploading, with real-time data streaming.

Accuracy: ±2% of the reading
